Description

Event 210a120 3- Way Active Line Array

The Event 212a120 picks up where the 210a left off. Equipped with similar specifications, the 212a120 has more tools and features to control your sound. The EVENT-212.120A line array integrates the DAScontrol™ interface which gives a quick set-up of the systems in arrays and provides natural alignment with the EVENT-218A and EVENT-121A subs. Presets for the number of speakers of the array, High-Frequency compensation for throw distances, and correction for the splay angle of the array can be selected by way of DAScontrol™ and the LCD. The high-frequency driver provides 90 degrees and 120 degrees dispersion options. Powerful digital signal processing (DSP) of the EVENT- includes Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters providing linear phase and precise impulse response, which results in added clarity, defined attack in percussion and overall, a more natural sound. The latest member in the series is here to impress.

Performance

The speakers work in a twin band configuration where each speaker operates in a specific frequency range. At low frequencies, the speakers work alongside each other with their own amplifier for maximum power. Above the low frequencies, the DSP feeds only one mid-range driver, eliminating off access interference between the drivers enabling the event series to maintain optimal polar frequency response. The Event series take advantage of the M75 compression drivers with a 75mm aluminum EFW voice coil and titanium diaphragm. The proprietary waveguides provide 90 and 120 degrees wide coverage.

Powerful Class D Amplification

Advanced class D three-channel amplifier with built-in DSP. RMS and peak limiters protect the components against overpowering.Easy-DSP push button combinations make digital signal processing easy.

EZ DSP

The line array Event is so easy to set up thanks to the EZ DPS button in the pack of the speaker. Press or depress the buttons as showing in the diagram according to the number of units you use. There is also a down fill preset. It is really that easy.
